EMPIRE STATE BUILDING EXHIBITION
This exhibition celebrates the extraordinary construction of the Empire State Building. The building was designed and built in less than 18 months at a cost of $25 million dollars. The coordination of trades, and the assembly and design acumen demonstrated, have yet to be equalled. The visitor exits the elevator banks to discover windows which frame views of New York in 1931; views which feature the erection process of the building's impressive steel frame.
